We are based on the Wirral and work within a 50-mile radius and beyond. We are a member of the NICEIC and pride ourselves on carrying out electrical installation and inspection works to the highest of standards within the electrical industry.
We have over 30 years’ experience and carry out electrical installation work, test & inspection services within Industrial, commercial & domestic settings.
We routinely inspect, Factories, Clubs, Pubs, Private Houses & Tenanted properties across the Merseyside & Cheshire region.
We build long-lasting relationships with our customers offering a specialist EICR test & inspection service for mortgages, licencing, health & safety & insurance requirements.
We will provide written clear quotations, we will always deliver on cost, the highest quality and most importantly safety.
Completed his electrical apprenticeship in the mid-1990s with an electrical company on the Wirral and gained experience in Industrial, commercial, and domestic installation work. In his early 20’s he achieved his City & Guild Electrical Test & Inspection qualification and became a member of the NICEIC and opened his own electrical contracting company.
Andy then progressed his career and became an electrical contracting site manager and has completed several projects for the Intercontinental Hotel Group & Thomas Cook at sites around the UK including Hotel Indigo, Days Inn, Marco Pierre White, Hotel Express, & Hilton brands.
In 2014 he opened Southwood Electrical Ltd and has built a customer base within the Northwest and carries out electrical installation & electrical inspection works for his clients new and old.
As the director of Southwood Electrical Ltd Andy is the NICEIC Principal Duty Holder & Qualified Supervisor within the company, and he strives to ensure the company carries out all its services to the highest of standards.
